Pepita Coffee, in partnership with Fatboy Slim, proudly presents an extraordinary collaboration with world-renowned Portuguese artist Vhils – a collectable art coffee tin featuring his original artwork Rio, packed with the finest luxury coffees from Colombia, Guatemala, and Ethiopia.
The Artist – Vhils
Born Alexandre Farto (Lisbon, 1987), Vhils is one of the most compelling voices in contemporary urban art. Since the early 2000s, he has pioneered a breathtaking technique – carving, cutting, drilling, etching, and blasting through layers of urban surfaces to reveal the hidden beauty trapped beneath. Like a contemporary archaeologist, he peels back the layers of our material culture to explore identity, globalisation, and what it means to be human in a rapidly changing world.
His work has been exhibited at the Barbican Centre (London), Palais de Tokyo (Paris), MAAT Lisbon, and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, among many others worldwide.
